I’ve always believed that makeup isn’t about hiding imperfections — it’s about expressing personality through colour and light. For me, that realization truly began when I discovered Korean beauty. The simplicity, the glow, the attention to detail — it felt less like “makeup” and more like self-care.

Why K- Beauty Inspired Me

  • K-Beauty changed the way I think about beauty itself. Unlike heavy Western glam, the Korean approach focuses on hydration, softness, and skin health before coverage. What I love most is its philosophy: you don't need to change your face - you just learn how to highlight what's already beautiful

  • When I started trying Korean rountines during my first year of university, I noticed something deeper - that those few minutes each morning were me-time, helping me slow down and prepare for the day with intention.

💋My Daily Makeup Routine

  • Step 1: Skincare first. I prep my skin with toner pads, an essence, and a light moisturizer to lock in that dewy base. Good skin is always the foundation of good makeup

  • Step 2: Cushion foundation. Before applying cushion I will apply a thin layer of concealer under the eye bags area especially when the light before I haven't got enough sleep:). Then I will apply a thin layer of cushion that gives a natural coveragee and a radiant finish.

  • Step 3: Soft gradient lips. My favorite step- I blend coral or rose tints to keep the look effortless

  • Step 4: Flushed cheeks & glow. Cream blush and a hint of highlight add warmth without heaviness

  • Step 5: Brows & lashes. Straight brows and soft mascara to open the eyes, but still look natural

Each step is simple but intentional - it's not about transformation, but refinement

Below are all the products that I used for this daily makeup routine:
